Stories are all around us; not just in books and poems and plays and songs, but also in the news and history and the places we live. Over three days, the IW Story Festival lets you get lost in stories of all kinds…
Our 2027 line up includes interactive sessions with best selling authors Jamie Smart (Bunny Vs Monkey) and Kes Gray (Oi Frog!) and Kieran Larwood (The World of Podkin, Dungeon Runners). Away from the books, Treehouse Theatre will present The Elves and the Shoemaker, an immersive, interactive, exciting work ideal for young families. Illustrator Neal Layton brings his book Bing, Bang, Boing to life, Storyteller Holly Medland discusses all things Troll and we find out about the pumpkin that saved a village with Chitra Soundar. There will be creative sessions for families to join in with throughout all three days. With more performers to be announced soon.
