This year, Cowes Week celebrates an extraordinary 200 years – and we’d love Cowes’ local groups and organisations to help us mark the occasion by adding a splash of colour to The Parade.

On Wednesday and Thursday this week, we’re inviting local groups to pick up a box of chalks from Regatta House and create their own pavement mural celebrating 200 years of Cowes Weeks.

Your mural can be as colourful, creative and joyful as you like. We’d love each organisation to interpret the anniversary through its own lens – whether that’s sailing, the sea, Cowes, our community, local history, people, wildlife or simply what 200 years of Cowes Week’s have meant to you.

Children, families, members, volunteers and colleagues can all get involved – come down together, claim a patch of pavement and leave your mark on the bicentenary.
