Getting Around Cowes

West Cowes is compact and walkable, with East Cowes connected across the River Medina by the Floating Bridge.

Southern Vectis Buses

Southern Vectis bus services connect East and West Cowes with Newport and the wider Island. Check current routes and times before travelling.

Floating Bridge

The Cowes Floating Bridge links East and West Cowes across the River Medina and carries foot passengers, cyclists and vehicles.

Travelling by Train?

Southampton Central station is a short taxi or bus ride from the Red Funnel terminal. Portsmouth Harbour station is right next to the Wightlink terminal.
